Ben Franklin Students Get Key Field Experiences

Above are students from the Benjamin Franklin High School for Finance and Information Technology in the Campus Magnet Complex, Cambria Heights, on a trip to Queens College which has agreed to mentor the students from the school. The students toured the Queens College campus, were given information about the school and learned the requirements and qualifications to be admitted to the school.
Below are students from the Benjamin Franklin HS for Finance and Information Technology on a trip to TD Securities, Manhattan, which has agreed to mentor students from the school. The students toured the facility, talked to professionals in different departments about what is required for someone to be successful in the business world and received help in resume-writing and interview skills. The chaperones for each of these trips were guidance counselor Kevin Downey and business teacher Andy Jacklin.
