The ISA Model

Focused on improving academic achievement, the Institute for Student Achievement (ISA) partners with schools and school districts to create autonomous small schools and to transform large comprehensive high schools into academically rigorous, personalized learning environments, called small learning communities, that prepare all students for success in college and beyond.

The ISA Model is defined and guided by a set of Seven Principles. Building upon these Seven Principles, the Institute for Student Achievement collaborates with schools to create comprehensive plans and implementation strategies for school redesign that are customized to meet the unique needs of schools and districts.
